The Ammo Tech is the Army's expert in explosives, Counter Terrorist Bomb Disposal and everything associated with ammunition, and plays a vital part in delivering the operational capability of the Army in peace and on operations. This is a responsibility that demands high quality individuals with the aptitude to be trained in a wide range of disciplines as well as their military skills.

Qualifications:
- Three GCSEs at grade A to C
- Subjects must include Maths and one of Physics, Chemistry or Science
Training:
- Twelve weeks initial training to learn basic Military Skills
- 25 weeks foundation training
- 18 month upgrade course 2-3 years after qualifying
