This VIP is responsible for the general maintenance of the park. The role includes manual work like building walls and erecting fences. There is also some administration involved. Woburn is a very large park and co-ordinating all of the repairs and upkeep is a varied and challenging role.
Generic Job Description for a Maintenance Supervisor
Maintenance workers are responsible for upkeep of the building or grounds where they are employed to work. This could be an office, community centre, School or Leisure Centre.
They work alone or within a maintenance team cleaning, carrying out repairs and maintaining the area.

Pay:
- Entry £10,000
- £15,000 - £20,000 with experience
- £25,000 at supervisor level

Hours:
- Evening and weekend work is common
- Some Maintenance Supervisors are on call 24 hours a day
Environment:
- Work can be outdoors or indoors in all conditions
- Some Maintenance Supervisors live on site or in purpose built accommodation
Qualifications:
- No set entry requirements
- Some GCSE passes grades A-C may be useful in English and practical subjects such as woodwork or metalwork
Training:
- Some on-the-job training may be required for company procedures
- A few years experience in maintenance is often required for Supervisory level positions
