This VIP works in a local estate agent showing clients around potential new homes from the estate agents books that they have specified an interest in viewing. Dealing with the sale of any properties on behalf of their client.

Estate Agents work for chains across the UK managing the buying and selling of property on behalf of the general public.
The role focuses around valuation, negotiation and marketing.
Estate Agents earn their living by taking a percentage of the sales price, or rental, of properties.
Working activities typically include:
- Looking at and collecting information about a property
- Visiting and talking to the vendors
- Estimating the value of the property
- Marketing and promoting properties for sale
- Representing the vendors in negotiation with prospective buyers
- Managing properties and collecting or organising rent payments if required
- Overseeing sales as they proceed

Pay:
- Entry £10,000 - £20,000
- Senior level positions with experience £25,000 - £50,000 or more in affluent areas

Hours:
- Typically up to 40 hours a week 9-6 Monday - Saturday
Environment:
- Office based
- Travel to properties and appointments common
Qualifications:
- No set entry requirements
- A degree in surveying, urban and land studies, business-related studies or civil and structural engineering is an advantage
- Most degree courses require five GCSE’s grades A-C and two A-Levels
Training:
- Training takes place on-the-job and in-house
- There are qualifications offered by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the NAEA
Opportunities:
- There are estate agencies throughout the country in all medium to large sized towns
- There are around 30,000 people working in estate agency, and job vacancies are common
