Placement Overview

This placement works on the front counter at Surrey Police Station. The role is known internally as a Station Officer. Station Officers provide a chargeroom and public enquiry service at Police Headquarters. Their responsiblity is to provide a prompt initial response to enquiries and requests regarding police services from the public and force personnel, and where possible resolve queries at the first point of contact both at the front counter and over the telephone.
